San Miguel de Allende is a city that has 1870 meters of altitude, and has been registered as a World Heritage Site in 2008.
It has also been named "Pueblo Magico" by the government of Mexico; and in one of the famous magazines about tourist destinations, it won the #1 ranking worldwide as one of the favorite cities for tourists for 2 years in a row.
It is well known as an art city because besides having schools focused on the arts, it is also a meeting point for many national and international artists.
The symbol of San Miguel de Allende is the "Parroquia de San Miguel Arcangel". Built of pink stone with a "Neo-Gothic" architectural style.
Due to its peculiar façade, it has earned the nickname of "Cinderella's Royal Castle" from those who have visited it. And because of its height, it can easily be seen from the surrounding area.
Keep in mind that its streets and walkways are usually steep. But it is worth it, to be able to enjoy a landscape like an old European village, feeling that time passes quickly!
And when you want to take a break from exploring, it is recommended that you stop by the popular churro store or try the delicious dishes at any of the many restaurants in town, so you don't have to worry about where to eat!

A practical way to make this trip is through the UBER service; making an approximate travel time of 1 hour, leaving from our Hotel (The rate is around $600 MXN (one way trip). Another way to travel economically is by bus.
